The Versatronik 50X NR2 gateway provides a communication translation between Viessmann Vitotronic NR2 Commercial boiler controls and BACnet (505), Modbus (502), or LonWorks(501) enabled BMS systems.

This gateway can monitor and control up to four boilers, one cascade, and 3 zone controls.

The Versatronik gateway may either be part of a control panel or it can be a stand-alone device.

50X / 50XD (DIN Rail) Our communication gateways come in two type of enclosures: the 50X gateway is a 120VAC metal enclosure unit, and the 50XD is a 24VAC DIN-Rail mountable plastic enclosure unit (See picture.)

LONWORKS®

The LONWORKS NR2 protocol is a global standard for building controls. If your Building Managements System (BMS) uses LONWORKS, our Gateway can be used to interface to your NR2 Boiler control.

Modbus

Integrate your RS485 Modbus network with Viessmann's NR2 LON boilers.

BACnet/IP

Our Gateway uses the BACnet/IP (Ethernet interface), NR2 prtocol to intergrate a Viessmann NR2 Control with your Building Management System.

Type-B

The NR2 gateways marked as "Type-B" has a different set of point allowing it to control up to 16 Viessmann NR2 boilers directly without the need for a cascade control. Your BMS will handle staging and rotation of the boilers.
